What is ProDashboard?

ProDashboard is a custom plugin for the Open Source server monitoring package called Nagios®. ProDashboard was developed by Allegro to allow Progress database administrators and system administrators of Progress-based servers to easily and more cost-effectiovely provide high availability and reliability to their customers.

Monitor Databases with ProDashboard

ProDashboard "watches" your Progress database and warns you when critical or serious errors are about to happen. While it cannot predict or monitor every condition, Allegro has created five monitors that watch the most important or most likely to fail conditions.

DBAs and SAs can now relax, work on other issues, and rest assured that if something does happen, they will receive email, SMS messages or a page.
